Is Merge secure?
Yes. Your data is private to your couple with role-based access and encrypted storage. Sign in with Google, Apple, or email.
How does Merge AI use our data?
Merge AI only uses your tasks, events, and finances to answer questions and take actions you approve. Free accounts get 3 messages per day; Premium is unlimited. Chat history is retained 30 days.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes. Merge is available on iOS with App Store subscriptions, push notifications, and the full shared life experience.
How do we link with our partner?
Use your Merge Code in Profile to invite your partner. Once linked, everything syncs in real time between both of you.
Does one subscription cover both partners?
Yes. One Premium or Family subscriber unlocks entitlements for the entire linked couple.
Does Merge work for long-distance couples?
Absolutely. Merge was designed for async planning, weekly check-ins, nudges, and push notifications.
What are the free tier limits?
Free includes 50 active tasks, 20 upcoming events, 30 story entries (no photos), 3 AI messages per day, current-month finances only, and ads.
How do SMS reminders work?
Family plan parents can enable optional morning texts for chores and appointments. Consent is required. Kids can reply DONE or TODAY. Reply STOP to opt out.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel Premium or Family anytime; access remains until the end of your billing cycle. iOS subscriptions are managed through the App Store.
