What we collect
We collect account details, shared couple data (tasks, events, finances, meals, kids profiles, chores, and appointments), and content you upload so Merge can operate.
If you enable Family text reminders, parents may provide a child's mobile phone number. We store that number, opt-in consent, and reminder preferences to send appointment and chore notifications.
We also collect limited device and usage data to improve reliability and performance.
How we use data
We use your data to provide the app, sync between partners, and power Merge AI responses.
Chat history is retained for 30 days by default and then deleted.
SMS reminders are sent only when a parent enables them and confirms consent. Children may reply to mark chores complete or request today's list.
Sharing
Your couple data is shared only between you and your partner inside your couple account.
We use Twilio to deliver SMS reminders. Twilio processes the child's phone number and message content solely to send those texts.
We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your data at any time within the app.
Parents can disable text reminders or remove a child's phone number in the Kids hub. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out.
